40k, and climbing

Hey all. No, this isn’t a post about Warhammer 40,000 (although I love that whole thing), but just to let you know I’m busy writing away on Himdel’s Fall and I’m now nearly 41,000 words deep into it. Five days ago I was at 23,000 I think, so that gives you an idea of how quickly I’m going.

With luck, I should be finished with the first draft in a couple weeks, and then the ‘fun’ of editing and proof-reading begins. I’ll start work again on the thriller and romance novels I have the plots for, and that way I’ll have books in various stages so that I’m not just stuck doing the same thing day after day. In other words, I won’t have to spend all day editing. Have you tried editing all day? It’s not great. I have the highest level of respect for editors. I have no idea how they do it day in day out. Amazing. Or weird. Both, possibly. 😉

As always, I’m looking for people to join my street team to help me with book launches. As a member of the street team you get to read the next book before everyone else and for free. Amazing. Please join up via the link on the menu or here. Not only that but I’m looking for proof-readers. If this is something you’re interested in helping me with please do shoot me a message via my facebook page. Thank you so much.

Anyway, time to get back on my head (the punchline to one of my favourite jokes – do you know it?).
