Almost there!

Hey all. Hope your Christmas preparations are going well and have at least started your Christmas shopping?! Luckily for me my wife and I don’t really exchange gifts (they just aren’t one of our love languages) and my cats are happy with the odd treat of lick paste or chicken slices. 🙂

What I’d like for Christmas is to have the first draft of my third book, Himdel’s Fall, finished but I’m not sure it’ll be done by then. We’ve just moved house and we still have lots to do (a fence, a shed, landscaping etc.) which all eats into my time. I’m not complaining – we now live in Hervey Bay, which is a wonderful seaside town in Queensland, Australia. I hope to spend many happy hours down at the beach writing.

Having said all that, I am actually very close to finishing – just twelve scenes remain in the Zhur Thoggu arc (one of six story arcs in the book!). If I can do one scene a day I might finish in time for Christmas. Fingers crossed!

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and I’ll speak to you after, hopefully with some good news.
