Sunday, funday!

Hi all, hope you’re having a great weekend.

I’m a big fan of motorsport and UFC so I often find my Sundays filled with hours of watching my beloved sports. I just finished watching UFC and then later we have two World Superbike races and the French F1 GP. Exciting! It does mean that I don’t get much time to do much else but then we all need to take a break to refresh. All work and no play makes Daz a very boring boy.

Himdel’s Fall is progressing, although at a slower pace since the Amazon debacle. I’m still waiting for a response from them explaining what I did wrong and how I can prevent them banning me again in future. Four emails in and still none-the-wiser. I’ll keep trying but I’m still feeling vulnerable and wondering whether I ought to spend my time elsewhere. I’ll keep writing, I promise to finish this series as I owe it to the people who’ve read the first two, but I’m not sure if I’ll continue after. I enjoy it but our time is finite and I want to put mine to best use.

Next month our new home should finally be finished. It has been a long and stressful slog (hint: don’t build with Coral Homes) but the pain will fade away once we’ve settled in. I’m very excited for my cats to have a large area to play in.

I’ve been reading the Bobiverse series by Dennis E. Taylor again, and I’m enjoying it just as much as the first read through. I highly recommend the books if you like nearish-future science fiction.
